About the Polish Annals of Medicine

 
Polish Annals Medicine is an interdisciplinary medical platform, which publishes peer-reviewed original scientific papers on health care issues and medical education from various disciplines of medicine and related biomedical sciences.
The aim of the journal is to promote an exchange of information and ideas on science and medical practice, stimulate medical community from other regions or countries to share their medical achievements, enhance publishing activity among authors of the younger generation and integrate various medical, clinical and academic centers and improve international cooperation.

Covering multiple medical disciplines, Polish Annals of Medicine seeks to investigate high standard health practices from various perspectives. The journal encourages articles from a diversity of views and insights, and from numerous disciplines and methods, such as basic science, clinical medicine, health care sciences, integrative and complementary sciences, experimental medicine and medicine in general.

Polish Annals of Medicine was originally established in 1993 as "Rocznik Medyczny" (Annals of Medicine) by the Warmia and Mazury Medical Chamber in Olsztyn, Poland, then commencing its cooperation with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in the year of 2008. Collegium Medicum of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn became the new owner and publisher of the journal in 2019. In the same year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education rated Polish Annals of Medicine at 40 points. In 2023, the Ministry of Education and Science rerated Polish Annals of Medicine at 70 points

Pol Ann Med is published 2 times per year: in June and December.
