About the Polish Annals of Medicine

 
Polish Annals Medicine is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary medical journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality scientific papers focused on human health, clinical practice, medical education, and biomedical sciences. The journal primarily publishes original research, review articles, and clinically relevant reports that contribute to the advancement of medicine and improvement of patient care.

The scope of the journal encompasses a broad range of medical and health-related disciplines, with particular emphasis on internal medicine and its subspecialties, as well as surgical and procedural disciplines. The journal also welcomes contributions in public health, medical education, translational medicine, and biomedical sciences directly relevant to human health, disease mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment.

The aim of Polish Annals of Medicine is to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge and clinical experience among medical professionals and researchers, promote high standards of medical practice, and support collaboration between clinical and academic centers at national and international levels.

Polish Annals of Medicine was originally established in 1993 as "Rocznik Medyczny" (Annals of Medicine) by the Warmia and Mazury Medical Chamber in Olsztyn, Poland, then commencing its cooperation with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in the year of 2008. Collegium Medicum of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn became the new owner and publisher of the journal in 2019. In the same year, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education rated Polish Annals of Medicine at 40 points.

Starting from 2026, Polish Annals of Medicine adopts a continuous publication model, allowing articles to be published online immediately after acceptance and final editorial processing.
